Low temperature during daytime and night frost of first half of March 2022 in Greece will cause a late Spring and Summer vegetable season. Paprika, corn peppers, tomatoes, melons and watermelons season will start 20 days later than usually. Paprika and tomatoes mid-April, Melons end of May, watermelons mid of June. The imminent fear remains that if April continues with low temperatures, another season of early stonefruits and apricots will be lost.
