In W11, Colombia exported chicken eggs to Cuba for the first time. Initially, two 40-foot containers containing 518,400 eggs left Colombia following the phytosanitary agreement reached between the two countries. Colombia's status as free from avian influenza and virulent Newcastle disease (VND) ensures conditions for the biosecurity of its poultry industry.
