Cotton was down 4.8% in December in the Brazilian market according to CEPEA/ESALQ Institute. On YTD it has appreciated 41.7%, recovering from the mild appreciation during most part of the year and also overcoming the 28.5% devaluation of the Brazilian currency in the period against the american dollar. Yet remaining among one of the least appreciated Brazilian crops in the year.
