The Galician mussel sector has been on the warpath against the new regulations that prevent them from accessing the mussel that grows in large areas of the Galician coast. This has generated a so-called mussel conflict. Therefore, representatives of the sector have demanded in the capital of Galicia that the areas be expanded to extract the mussel breeding and thus be able to nourish their rafts. In addition to this, the Russian-Ukrainian war has caused some companies in the sector to temporarily close their doors, since many of the inputs they need have increased their prices too much, especially gas, electricity, sunflower oil, etc.
