Dole Philippines is still the sole exporter of Hass avocado, but not for long

Dole Philippines remains the sole Philippine exporter of Hass avocado but more and more farms are starting to cultivate the variety. The Mindanao Development Authority has been creating awareness programs and offering technical support to interested farmers. A convention will be held on May 17 to further promote Hass avocado farming.
