Despite with global economy slowing down, one of the beef importers in Indonesia shared that their local domestic market is picking up in Q4 2022 by 10-13%. Towards the end of 2022, they are still focusing on selling out all their slow-moving inventories with less margin as they are planning to replenish their inventory after New Year. For now, they are expecting that they will start their purchase of imported beef and seafood in Q1 2023.
