Strawberry Picking Season Starts in China in December

As the winter season starts in China, the domestic strawberry season begins in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, in Northern China. The picking period starts in December and lasts until early May 2023. Strawberries are one of the most demanded fruits in China, after cherries. Early-season strawberries are usually expensive. Last year's early season strawberry pricing stood at around USD 27.48/kg (RMB 200/kg).
