The 2023 Turkish dried fig export season has just begun, and prices are volatile in the middle of September. Processors are buying dried figs from farmers but are concerned by the high market prices. Some processors and packers are opting to wait for prices to stabilize before making purchases. Exporters are finding it challenging to provide firm offers to customers since they must establish purchase contracts when they receive orders. Exporters are expecting that prices will stabilize by the end of September 2023.
