Due to the recent study of natural benefits of anti-bacterial properties found in the turmeric, some suppliers in the Philippines have started to sell turmeric powder to local consumers as the COVID-19 cure. Currently, 200 grams of turmeric powder is priced at US$ 4.50, and 100 grams is priced at US$ 2.40. Suppliers are expecting that more and more local consumers would buy their products and eventually they will be able to export in countries near the Philippines.
