Vietnam's Durian Exports Surged in Q1-24 Despite Export Decline in Mar-24

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Vietnam's durian exports in Mar-24 reached nearly 18 thousand tons, valued at USD 80.5 million. This represents a 27% year-over-year (YoY) decrease in volume and a 17% YoY decrease in value. Moreover, durian exports in Q1-24 reached nearly 57 thousand tons valued at USD 253 million, a 42% YoY increase in volume and a 63.7% YoY increase in value. China continues to be the largest importing market, accounting for 51.5 thousand tons.
