In Vietnam's main cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, early-season plums from Son La province are priced at USD 12 per kilogram (kg), containing 18-25 fruits per kg, surpassing the price of imported plums from Australia. Observations since early Mar-24 indicate an increase in the availability of these plums in local stores. Prices vary based on fruit size, with 18-25 fruits per kg priced at USD 12, while 25-35 fruits per kg range from USD 10 to 11. Lower-grade plums (type 2 and 3) were traded by wholesalers at USD 3.3 to 5.3/kg
