Rising Tomato Prices in Egypt Amid Supply Shortage in Sep-24

Tomato prices in Egypt surged to USD 412.55 to 515.69/ton (EGP 20,000 to 25,000/ton) in Sep-24, compared to USD 309.41 to 412.55/ton (EGP 15,000 to 20,000/ton) in Aug-24. This increase is due to high demand and limited market availability due to the ongoing export season.
