Extremely High Price of Yellow Mango From Thailand To Japan in February 2022

The trader's latest quoted price of Nam Dok Mar mango was USD 35.50 per box CNF Narita-Japan. The average price per kg was USD 7.1 per kg, higher than Japan's wholesale market price of last February - USD4 .40 per Kg, about USD 2.70 per kg (38%).
According to the "Price Structure Studying," the air freight cost is about 10-15% of the whole price USD 0.71-1.07 per kg. However, it was about USD 1.8-3.0 per kg due to the limited flight from Thailand to Japan, both "Passenger Flight" and "Air Cargo," while there is continuous high exporting demand. This situation might get better when the flight situation is reconciled.
