First Egyptian Mandarins of the Season Arrive in Brazilian Wholesale Market in W3

During W3, the Brazilian wholesale market welcomed the first Egyptian mandarins of the season, featuring the Mirav variety. The market had a limited supply of mandarins, and the initial sale prices commenced at USD 26.44 per 10 kilogram (kg) box for class 1 produce. Mirav mandarins are particularly popular in the Brazilian market for being seedless with a hard peel, and they are well-received due to their perceived longer shelf life.
