In Colombia, the departments of Nariño and Cauca suffered shortages of agricultural goods due to the massive landslide that caused the blockage in one of the main highways in Southern Colombia during W3. Transportation between these two areas and the rest of the country resulted in several problems for food vendors. Due to this, the price of Tahiti limes increased by 38%, from USD 0.54/kg to USD 0.75/kg, and lettuce increased by 60% from USD 0.48/kg to USD 0.78/kg in Nariño and Cauca.
