Argentine beef won the gold medal at the first World Meat Championship (CMDC), which took place in Buenos Aires. The award-winning sample was presented by La Negra Agropecuaria, based in Del Viso, and producer of the Urien Loza brand, reported the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. The World Meat Championship (CMDC®) was organized by the director of the School of Meat Sommeliers of Argentina, Dr. Luis Barcos, along with the magazine AmeriCarne and Messe Frankfurt Argentina. The distinction went to the "grain-fed sirloin" presented by this producer, which was chosen as "the best in the world" and also received a special mention for excellence in flavor. This achievement reaffirms the quality and prestige of Argentine beef.
