South African pome and citrus fruit exports for W19 reflect a dynamic change in exports in comparison to the same period in 2022, with some markets seeing a sharp decline, whilst others a major increase in volumes shipped from South Africa.

Apples: an overall decline of 53% compared to W19 of 2022
Middle-East down by 66%
Europe down by 79%
Far East down by 26%

Pears: overall 81% decline in exports compared to W19 of 2022
Middle-East down by 96%
Europe down by 58%
Far East down by 78%

Citrus:
Oranges: an overall increase of 74% compared to W19 of 2022
Middle-East increased by 246%
Europe increased by 850%
South East Asia increased by 2%
North America a decline of 54%

Lemons: a 19% overall increase compared to W19 of 2022
Middle-East an increase of 936%
Europe same as W19 2022
South East Asia an increase of 10%
North America a decline of 45%

Soft Citrus: an overall decline of 15% compared to W19 of 2022
Middle-East an increase of 288%
South East Asia an increase of 102%
Asia an increase of 731%
United Kingdom a decline of 30%

Grapefruit: an overall decline of 46% compared to W19 of 2022
Middle-East an increase of 189%
Asia an 18% decrease
South East Asia a 43% decrease
