In W46, Norway's Fresh Salmon exports, particularly in the 3 to 6 kilograms (kg) Superior Salmon category, declined by 4.4%, with 1.04 thousand metric tons (mt) fewer shipments than the previous week. This drop in exports has led to a 5.8% price increase, rising by USD 0.37/kg (EUR 0.36/kg) to USD 6.83/kg (EUR 6.56/kg) Free Carrier (FCA) Oslo. With the trend expected to continue, prices are projected to surpass USD 7.49/kg (EUR 7.20/kg) by the end of 2024.
