Among the family customs of Guatemalans is the use of crops such as rosemary, thyme, vetiver, lavender, ginger, among others, for cooking, alternative medicine, flavorings, and others. Guatemala has microclimates that allow the cultivation of a wide variety of plant species with conditions that generate continuous production cycles and make the country a producer of plant-based raw materials.

They prepared the same number of guides with technical specifications of the different crops, market information, identification of pests and diseases, and profitability data for each product, focused on taking advantage of that market and potentiating a new line of exportable supply in Guatemala. Some of these essential oils are Basil, Citronella, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Ginger, Lavender, Chamomile, Marjoram, Cardamom, among others
