During the last week of April 2022, Tahiti limes price decreased 35% after reaching the highest price of the year in March 2022 at $0.20/unit. After that, prices stabilized at $0.13/unit due to an increase in supply in wholesale markets. This price behavior is common during the months of March and April when the limes reach higher prices compared to other months. As supply starts to increase, prices are expected to maintain stability and some producers expect to export limes to international markets, mainly to the United States where the demand for citruses have increased during the last year.
