Harvesting of early grains starts in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the harvesting of barley has started in the Kherson region (south Ukraine), and in others, trial mowing has been carried out along the perimeter of the fields. By the end of the week, harvesting is planned to begin in Odesa, Mykolaiv, and part of the Donetsk region. The average yield is about 3.25 tons/ha. The total area of early grain crops in Ukraine this year is 7.5 million hectares.
