High Price of Mature Thai Ginger in January 2023 Due to High Demand

January 2023 will start the new season for harvesting mature Thai ginger. The upcoming season was expected to lower the price from the previous ginger season, however, the price is not low since ginger from other countries like China and Brazil is out of stock, and there is high demand for good quality mature ginger from Thailand. The offer price FOB stood at USD 1,300/MT for high-grade ginger while the old stock in the storage room for 2021 is at USD 1,500/MT.
