Hurricane Ian is now heading in an unknown direction toward Florida in the United States. A category 3/4 landfall is expected on Wednesday or Thursday but remains uncertain. Heavy flooding due to a storm surge is also predicted, and this storm will probably impact the industry in terms of logistics, production, and imports. Products coming out of South Florida could be halted or affected, potentially creating new market opportunities as other states look to provide support during this storm.
