Lemon sales in Indonesia are expected to back to normal from June onwards. During the month of Ramadan, the consumption trend is normally decreasing as consumers prefer sweet fruits when breaking the fast, rather than citrus fruits. Most importers also have used up their import quota for lemon. Importers must have an import quota from the Ministry of Trade to import lemon to Indonesia. The import quota limits the volume import for each importer.
