During W16, harvesting has started in a few quinoa fields in Bolivia, and the overall harvest will begin at the end of April. Due to droughts yield reduction of 10-15% is forecasted. Farmers have indicated that the area under cultivation has increased compared to 2022, and if the weather conditions are favorable, the harvest is expected to remain the same as last year.
