Increasing Price of Indonesian Red Snapper Fish in W49 Due to Low Supply

The price of Indonesian red snapper fish (Species: Lutjanus sanguineus) has increased in W49 in the Jakarta region. The price of the red snapper fish was USD 4.15/kg in November 2022 but increased to USD 4.80/kg in the form of a frozen whole round in W49. Red snapper is caught by line fishing in the Eastern Sea of Indonesia FAO 71 (Pacific Ocean) and frozen aboard fishing vessels. At the moment, the red snapper catch is much lower due to unfavourable sea conditions, hence the price increase.
