The state of Maharashtra in India has started harvesting green seedless grapes varieties. The first harvest began early November with a few pre-season consignments going to UAE and Russia as of now. The farmer procurement rates were USD 1.3 per kg and FOB Nhava Sheva rates ranged between USD 1.8 per kg (USD 8.5-10 per 5 kg box). The rates are expected to decrease as harvesting season picks up in December.
