Indonesia's desiccated coconut products are predicted to have a significant price increase starting from January 2022. Shortage of supply and rising prices of the raw material of the fresh coconut are the main factors for this price increase. The manufacturers have informed their buyers of a 15%-17% price increase for the desiccated coconut, for the shipments in the first quarter of 2022. However, this price increase does not reduce the demand from the export market. The buyers have booked the products even until March 2022.
