The banana market in China is currently experiencing concentrated imports and slow sales. While the peak season typically spans from February to March, this year's trend extended into Apr-24 due to increased imports and delayed arrivals of Chinese bananas. Vietnamese and Cambodian bananas are gaining popularity due to their quality and competitive pricing. Despite expectations, prices have not significantly changed leading up to the Qingming Festival, but gradual increases are anticipated as import volumes decrease, with a more pronounced rise expected by mid-April.
