Iran has produced 526 KMT of fish and aquacultural products during the Iranian last year, between Mar 2019 - Mar 2020. The country was planning to produce over 500 KMT of tilapia however the Covid-19 outbreak has slowed down the exports and the target couldn't be reached. On the other hand, Iran has imported around 300 million trout roe (eggs) last year and needs about 500 million eggs per year.
