Iran produced 10 tons of caviar from farmed sturgeon last year

Iran's sturgeon meat output was at 2,500 tons producing 10 tons of farmed caviar during the last Iranian year.
On the other hand, the demand for sturgeon fry exceeds 1 million per year.
As for the country's fish farming, the production output was at 46 KMT last year done in over 12,300-hectare farming areas during the last Iranian year (ended in March 2020).
