Iran has reportedly produced around 1.2 million tons of dates since the start of the current fiscal year, March 20 until now. While date exports have been obstructed by the global pandemic the production output is expected to exceed last year's. It is estimated that around 15-20% of the total production will be exported by the end of the current fiscal year. The main export destinations for the Iranian dates are North America, EU countries, Russia, China, and India.
