Ivorian Coast cocoa bean production expected to fall

The Coffee and Cocoa Council (CCC) expects cocoa bean production to fall by up to 11% in 2021/22, or by about 250k MT. They say this drop is the result of unfavorable weather conditions and the vegetative rest of the cocoa trees after three years of strong harvests.
