Avocado demand in the Netherlands has finally split into two markets, with larger avocados selling better than smaller ones in W46. Avocados in sizes 12 to 20 are in high demand, with prices ranging from USD 11.29-14.37/4kg, depending on origin and size. However, smaller avocados, and especially the baby avocado, have less demand on the Dutch market. Perhaps sizes 22 and 24 are unaffected by this, as they still have demand from retail vendors and caterers, but their prices range from USD 9.23-11.29/4kg, depending on origin. As for baby avocados, prices are fluctuating between USD 0.82-1.74/kg depending on the size.
