Australian asparagus prices in Australia increased due to poor harvest and limited access to Mexican asparagus. Mexican asparagus exports to Australia have been limited during week 25 and 26 due to limited freight from the United States. Australian asparagus supply has been heavily affected by rain in NSW and Queensland. Domestic prices are increasing from AUD 14/kg FOB to AUD 15/kg FOB. The new Australian Asparagus season will start late August.
