Five years ago, when Myanmar started to export the fresh gingers to neighboring countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Vietnam, the exporters from Myanmar only delivered unwashed gingers with mesh packaging. In 2020-2021, local suppliers are expanding the fresh ginger market to Europe, America, and the Middle East where the countries can pay better pricing and look for better quality.
