Malaysia trying to introduce more competitive Black pepper price

Although black pepper Malaysia is very high quality, nowadays most importers prefer cheap compared to quality causing Malaysia to struggle to export its black pepper since neighboring countries, Vietnam is able to export low-quality black pepper with a final price which is almost the same as farm price black pepper Malaysia. Due to that, the exporters are discussing with MPB to reduce the cost of steam and sterilization so that the price of black pepper Malaysia is more competitive.
