In the Northeast US, the murcott mandarin price in W40 decreased compared to W39 due to the influx of Peruvian murcott. In W40, prices for 15kg boxes are USD 24–26 for bigger sizes 1-3x, and USD 22 for sizes 4-5's, while prices from W38 and W39 were in the range of USD 28-29 per 15kg box. Several wholesalers in the terminal market for Miami are also still selling Peruvian murcotts cheaper at a price of USD20–22 per 15kg box.
