Traders are buying the Musang King variety at wholesale prices ranging from USD 15.5/kg to USD 17.5/kg. This price increase for Vietnamese-grown Musang King durians is due to strong export demand and limited supply. The Musang King variety from Vietnam is known for its superior quality during the March-April period, so consumers highly seek it.
