The mushroom growers in Belgium are currently all hands on deck to meet the demand for mushrooms. Due to the limited opening of the restaurant and catering industry because of the COVID-19, supermarkets are selling mushrooms more than usual. Every variety of mushrooms is being sold. The biggest challenge for many companies will be f staffing and product availability. Demand is increasing two to three times currently in week 50.
