The National Chamber of Pineapple Producers and Exporters of Costa Rica (CANAPEP) started working on opening new markets for pineapple in Japan and some Caribbean Islands. CANAPEP works with the phytosanitary department to continue positioning Costa Rica as a leading pineapple supplier. With the opening of new markets in sight, CANAPEP continues to promote efficiency in the field through sustainable programs and agricultural amendments that aim to reduce pollution.
