Onion Prices Skyrocketed in Turkiye in W16 Due to a Supply Shortage

Turkey may enter a crisis this summer with onions due to supply shortages coupled with increasing production costs which have resulted in a significant price increase in the domestic market from USD 0.30/kg in April 2022 to USD 1.4/kg in W16.
