Recent prices for Indian Cavendish bananas

G9 Cavendish banana is the most preferred and exported variety of bananas produced in India. Maharashtra. Solapur, Kolhapur, and Jalgaon are leading production and export regions. The main destinations for Indian bananas are Iran, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

Following rates for this week were shared by Indian banana suppliers:
1. Farmer procurement rate USD 0.21/kg
2. Ex-works USD 5.20/box (13 kgs, Grade A - 4,5,6 hand 90%, 7-8 hand 10%)
3. CIF Jebel Ali (UAE) USD 8.20/box (13 kgs, Grade A - 4,5,6 hand 90%, 7-8 hand 10%)
Rates change weekly and are expected to go even higher in the coming months.
