Peru will be Guest of Honor at Asia Fruit Logistica ON

For second time in a row, Peru will be Guest of Honor at Asia Fruit Logistica ON, the most important food fair in Asia which will take place from November 18th to 20th.

Peru has been participating in this fair for more than ten years, which has allowed it to stand out worldwide, placing Peru among the top ten suppliers of fruit and vegetables on the planet.

Asia is the third market for the agro-export sector, showing growth in products such as blueberries, mangoes, asparagus, citrus and avocados. In recent years, sanitary access has been achieved in South Korea, China and Japan. Asian countries represents 9% of total exports, with a growth of +22% over the previous year.

In the last year, Peru has stood out as the first exporter of blueberries in the world, the second of mandarins, the third of avocados, the fourth of palm hearts and the fifth of grapes.
