Due to the high rise in bulk materials such as feed and raw materials, the transaction price of pigs fell to only USD 2.38 per kg on 24 February. After the Council of Agriculture launched three major measures to regulate the listing order of pig sources, the price of pigs has returned in March. The transaction price per kilogram on 1 March was USD 2.65. The number of slaughtered on 1 March was 23,394, and the average transaction price per kilogram was USD 2.62.
