Port Hueneme remains popular for US shipments heading for Latin America

Due to continued port congestion and delays in Seattle, Oakland, and Los Angeles, US suppliers are using Port Hueneme in California more for their Latin American shipments. Washington apple suppliers have been using the port since the beginning of the season in September. California grape suppliers have begun using it more frequently in recent weeks for their shipments to Ecuador and Colombia.
