Price Levels Are Expected to Remain High for the 2022/23 Spanish Avocado Campaign Due to Supply Shortage

The 2022/23 Spanish avocado campaign continues to exhibit atypical price trends due to the shortage. The price level remains high, especially for large sizes, reaching USD 3.77/kg in the field for sizes 12/14/16 and USD 2.48/kg for smaller sizes in W2. The trend is expected to remain stable in this direction for the remainder of the campaign, which normally ends in April. Although in 2023, the campaign is expected to end between February and March.
