Wild salmon prices have nearly reached record lows, with Russian pink salmon HG prices dropping to USD 1,500 to 1,600 per metric ton (mt), a 60% year-on-year (YoY). Similarly, American Alaska pink salmon prices have fallen, ranging from USD 2,300 to 2,400/mt, marking a 50% YoY decline. Despite these significant price reductions, challenges persist in finding buyers in China.
