Indonesian producers of fruit concentrate products are worried and predict a decline in demand from the export market in 2023. The export market has become the backbone since the decrease in the domestic market due to the drop in sales of the ready-to-drink juice (RTD-Juice) product category in the domestic retail market. The sales have not recovered from the decline since the pandemic. This condition encourages producers to seek new markets in other countries. Melon puree or fruit concentrate producers are looking to open more markets in Asia, especially Japan, as it is the primary market for fruit concentrate goods.
