Fuerte variety avocados from Kenya and Uganda have been performing very well in the UAE market recently. The shortage of Hass avocados in the market has allowed Fuerte avocados to sell and make profitable margins. Companies that regularly import and stock these varieties currently attain an average profit margin of 25–30%. The high demand for Fuerte avocados is forecasted to continue at least until W39-40. Overall, it is well-known that the UAE is a good market for Kenyan avocados.
